Operators sometimes write 'OU Mehadrin'. I have not found an official OU page that defines that term, so ask the operator what it means for the program.
What public sources say
Each line is taken from the page linked beside it. Checked on October 4, 2026. Positions change, so open the source for the current wording.
OU Israel is based at 7 Hartom Street, Har Hotzvim, Jerusalem.
In fall 2019 OU Israel, together with OU Kosher, launched the Gustave & Carol Jacobs Center for Kashrut Education.
Worth asking the operator
Public pages rarely say how long someone has supervised a particular program. The operator can tell you.
- Who signs the kashrut certificate for this program, and can I see this year’s certificate?
- How many years has he supervised this operator’s Pesach programs, and this hotel in particular?
- Does an agency or beth din stand behind the certificate, or is it his personal hechsher?
- Is he in the hotel for the whole of Yom Tov, and how many mashgichim work under him?
Programs that name it
- Shainfeld Tours, Ramada Jerusalem
The operator says: Badatz Mehadrin Jerusalem and OU Mehadrin (Badatz Vaad HaKashrut)
