Not a communal program: one family or group rents the entire small luxury resort for Passover, for up to about 30 guests. A mashgiach stays on site and menus, including options such as cholov Yisroel dairy and Beit Yosef meat, are tailored to the family's own standards.

Kashrut and standards

Taken from the operator’s own website. A dashed outline means the operator hasn’t said, not that the answer is no.

Supervision
Certified mashgichim on site; kitchen koshered after resort closes 24 hours before arrival
Who it suits
Private families and groups (whole-resort booking, up to about 30 guests)

Who is the supervisor?

The operator’s website does not name a rabbi or agency I could look up.

Worth asking the operator

  • Who signs the kashrut certificate for this program, and can I see this year’s certificate?
  • How many years has he supervised this operator’s Pesach programs, and this hotel in particular?
  • Does an agency or beth din stand behind the certificate, or is it his personal hechsher?
  • Is he in the hotel for the whole of Yom Tov, and how many mashgichim work under him?

Everyone named for kashrut supervision

Ask before you book

The operator’s website doesn’t state these. If any matter to you, get the answer in writing:

  • Gebrokts or non-gebrokts
  • Glatt
  • Pas Yisroel
  • Shmura matzah
  • Separate swimming
  • Kitniyot policy

Standards can change from year to year. Confirm with the operator and your own rav.

Videos and social accounts

The hotel

About the building itself, all year round. The Pesach program is run by the operator, not the hotel.

Getting there

We found no nonstop flight from New York (JFK) in late April, so plan on one connection. A nonstop would take about 18 hours; with a connection allow several hours more.

Phuket lists year-round nonstops from Paris Charles de Gaulle and Tel Aviv. London flights are listed but marked seasonal (winter), so they are not counted.

North American travelers usually connect in an Asian or Middle Eastern hub to Phuket, sometimes with a second stop in Bangkok, and finish with a boat transfer to the island.

Routes come from each airport’s published route list, checked October 2026. Flight times are estimates from the distance. Airlines change schedules, so confirm before you book (route list we used).

From the airport

  • Phuket International Airport (HKT): about 75 minutes by carAbout 25 minutes by car to a pier on Phuket's east coast, then a speedboat of 30 to 45 minutes to the island.
  • Krabi International Airport (KBV): about 1.5 hours by carAn alternative on the mainland side, also a drive plus a boat.

Late April weather

Hot and humid, with highs around 93°F (34°C) and nights near 77°F (25°C); the sea is very warm at about 86°F (30°C), with a growing chance of afternoon storms as the rainy season nears.

Good to know

  • Thailand is 11 hours ahead of New York in late April.
  • The currency is the Thai baht.
  • The island is reached only by boat and has no need for a car; times shown for outings are mostly boat rides.
  • US passport holders can generally enter without a visa for short stays, but Thailand changes its rules often, so check entry rules for your passport.

Google’s star rating and reviews are for ANI Thailand all year round, not for the Pesach program.

Safety and travel advisories

What governments say about travel to this country. Nothing here is this site’s own judgment.

US State Department travel advisory for Thailand

Level 1 of 4: Exercise normal precautions

  • The advisory treats some parts of the country differently. Read it for the area you are going to.
  • The level is for the whole country, not for the hotel or its neighborhood. Level 1 is the lowest of the four and Level 4 the highest.
  • Advisory dated July 6, 2026; I read it on October 4, 2026. Levels change, so open the advisory before you book and again before you fly.

This is the governments’ own wording, not a rating by this site. Israel’s National Security Council also publishes travel warnings for Israelis abroad. Ask the operator what security the program itself arranges, such as guards and entry checks.
