Getting there

There is a nonstop flight from New York (JFK), about 2 hours in the air.

Atlanta (ATL) has nonstops from all nine hubs, including Tel Aviv, London Heathrow and Paris Charles de Gaulle.

Most guests fly into Atlanta and drive about 40 minutes, or drive from the Atlanta area.

Routes come from each airport’s published route list, checked October 2026. Flight times are estimates from the distance. Airlines change schedules, so confirm before you book (route list we used).

From the airport

  • Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL): about 40 minutes by carAtlanta's airport, one of the busiest in the world.

Driving instead

  • From Atlanta: about 0.5 hours
  • From Charlotte: about 4 hours

Late April weather

Pleasant spring weather with days around 74°F (23°C) and nights near 53°F (12°C).

Good to know

  • You need a car; the resort is inside Stone Mountain Park, which charges a daily parking fee.
  • Atlanta's main Orthodox neighborhood, Toco Hills, is about 25 minutes away.
  • Eastern time zone. Atlanta traffic is heavy at rush hour.

Safety and travel advisories

What governments say about travel to this country. Nothing here is this site’s own judgment.

Safety information for the United States

The US State Department does not publish an advisory for its own country. Other governments do publish advice for visitors, and local police departments publish crime figures for their own cities.

This is the governments’ own wording, not a rating by this site. Israel’s National Security Council also publishes travel warnings for Israelis abroad. Ask the operator what security the program itself arranges, such as guards and entry checks.
